Bugger! Three quarters the way through a job and the battery went down!

It’s happened to us all hasn’t it?  I’d almost finished and I knew the battery was low, but I was praying that it would hold until I’d got the job done.  But it didn’t!

So what did I do?  Get the old hammer and nails out?  Go and look for a spare battery and hope that I’d remembered to charge it?  Or knock it on the head and call it a day?

Well none of those actually. Don’t forget this is the Senco Fusion we’re talking about here and it doesn’t just use any old battery, it has the latest 18v Li-Ion power pack on board, so not only does it last a lot longer than ordinary rechargeables, but it’s a hell of a lot faster to charge up too.

Here’s what I did.  I put it on ‘Quick Charge’ and then went for a brisk brew.  Just fifteen minutes later and with a lovely cup of builders inside me the Fusion battery was 80% charged.  More than enough to finish the job.

Don’t you just love a happy ending?
